Description of our holiday apartment
'At home in oltrarno' is our renovated 80 sqm flat in the popular Oltrarno neighbourhood. It is only a 5-25 minute walk from the main sights. The flat offers you a bedroom with a view of the green courtyards and, in the background, Forte Belvedere and the Tuscan hills. There is also a small bedroom with two single beds, e.g. for children, and a large living room with a sofa bed. There is also a fully equipped kitchen and a spacious bathroom.
The house in which the flat is located with its own entrance is part of the historic old buildings of Via de Serragli and is in the immediate vicinity of many small typical squares, cafés and restaurants. Oltrarno is considered the most authentic part of Florence's historic centre, with small shops, galleries and artisan businesses. Shopping facilities, including supermarkets, open also on Sundays and public holidays, are within 5-10 minutes walking distance. A launderette is located on the ground floor of the neighbouring building.
Please note that the flat is on the 4th floor of an old building and there is no lift available.
If you are travelling with four or more people, please note the subdivision of the flat (see floor plan under the heading ‘Photos’):
There is a bedroom with a double bed at the back. A small bedroom (as in the photos) with two single beds also at the back and a relatively large living room with a comfortable sofa bed. The living room is also the entrance room, so the flat is entered from there.
